Yahoo Mail Issues: Yahoo Mail Hacked, Users Experiencing Widespread Hack, Outage & Spamming
It appears that YahooMail is experiencing issues on Monday due to a widespread user attack over the weekend. Some users are complaining that YahooMail is experiencing an outage or that their accounts have been hacked and are either locked or have sent out SPAM messages to their address books. The Yahoo Mail outage appeared to have occurred on Sunday evening, January 6th. Most users however, are experiencing the Yahoo Mail problems or hack issues on Monday. Upon doing some initial research, TheNextWeb has confirmed the Yahoo Mail hack and that Yahoo is now investigating the issues. This just goes to show you how fast information spreads on social media.
