North Korea's Secret Torture Camps!!

Did you know that North Korea has torture camps just as bad or worse than the Nazis did ?

Picture a condemned inmate, his body torn apart by guard dogs, slumped unconscious as the three executioners fired. The bullets shattered his skull, splattering blood near other prisoners forced to watch.

His offense if you wanna call it an offense is trying to escape from the remote prison camp in North Korea.

"People were seized with fear, but no one could say anything," former prisoner Jung Gyoung-il said, recalling the 2001 execution. "That's worse than the way animals are slaughtered."

For a decade North Korea has denied such accounts from defectors, and South Korea has shied away from them to maintain good relations with its wartime rival.

It is estimated that 23,000 North Koreans are at this moment locked up in about 20 concentration camps scattered about the country, perhaps since the 1950s, when the elder Kim (Kim Il Sung) was in power.


The United Nations launched an investigation into what it said were widespread and systematic human rights violations in North Korea, some of which "may amount to crimes against humanity".

For decades, the Pyongyang government has repeatedly denied the existence of the camps — though they show up on satellite maps. But there is little doubt about their purpose. It is to reform enemies of the state through a regime of hard labour and relentless propaganda.


A lack of access to medicine means most illnesses are left untreated, often leading to festering wounds, widespread contagion and even death.

While hard labour is a daily inevitability, the use of torture is just as commonplace. Methods may vary, but the goal is always the same: to break the will, enforce a draconian idea of law and maintain the status quo.
